Founded in 2016 by three friends—Daniel Sorridimi, Robert Lechowicz, and Paul Pisani—Blackwood quickly became a favorite among locals in Cronulla. In 2022, we expanded to Bondi, creating a unique destination that blends café, restaurant, and bar elements. With locations in both Cronulla and Bondi, Blackwood captures the essence of our owners’ love for dining: vibrant, welcoming, and designed with style and comfort in mind.

Led by Michelin-star trained co-owner and executive chef Robert Lechowicz, our menu celebrates seasonal flavours with Mediterranean and Asian influences, all grounded in French culinary technique. We prioritise local, fresh ingredients to bring you a dining experience that’s as fun as it is flavourful.
